Inspired by the aniseed I add to my morning latte and have a moment to slowly wake up, this delicated painting was created in the shape of a box. De Ruijter was founded in 1860 bij Cornelis Rutgerus de Ruijter and has been a part of almost every household in the Netherlands. 

The title is latin for the aniseed plant.
