INKTOBER
The month of october is known as inktober since 2009. It challenges artist all over the world to draw daily dring this month. Using pen & ink, but encouraging the freedom to use any medium. Finding an hour a day to hone your skills and enjoy creating with peers following a list of prompts. Here are some of mine.
RUNEHORSES
In 2019 I decided to give inktober a go using the viking runes as a prompt for 24 drawings. I set a time limit of one hour for each drawing and felt accomplished to finish them all. They were based on a set of runecards I created many years before featuring human forms representing the runes. The 2019 inkotber illustrations turned into a pdf book calles Runehorse and I am working on a new set of full colour illustrations to create a deck of cards.
